Supportive Housing

FOW is dedicated to empowering victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and we expand on those needs by taking leadership and incorporating services for the homeless or those at-risk of becoming homeless. Individuals and families can apply for utility deposits, security deposits, and short-term rental assistance. This service is open to anyone in the community and is not limited to victims and survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault. The goal of the Supportive Housing Program is build self-sufficiency by helping to attain stable and affordable housing.

Community Education + Prevention

FOW strongly believes that an involved and educated community can help lead to a more accountable and proactive community. Sexual and Domestic Violence is often seen as an individual or family issue; however, this violence impacts and affects the community as a whole. The Community Education and Prevention Program works to prevent these crimes by addressing the societal factors that contribute to and allow these forms of abuse to occur by challenging social norms, attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors. We provide outreach and education to children, youth, and adults to increase awareness about domestic violence, sexual assault, teen dating violence, and other forms of violence while educating the community on how to identify and respond to outcries made by victims.

Battering Intervention & Prevention Program (BIPP)

FOW's BIP Program, Fellowship Ending Violence (FEV), works to eliminate family violence through the intervention and prevention of battering behaviors, attitudes, and beliefs that are used to establish and maintain power and control within an intimate relationship, marriage, or family. The mission of FEV/BIPP is to eliminate battering by providing services to batterer's, promoting the safety of victims and survivors, and bringing about social change necessary to end battering and all other forms of relationship abuse.
