Every day the dedicated team at Friendship of Women, Inc. advocates for the safety, healing, and empowerment of those most vulnerable and those impacted by trauma and violence. This year, from January through July, Friendship of Women helped 1,005 survivors access safety and services – a 41% increase from 2022 for the same time frame. Children represented 36% of all victims served. Families in our community are impacted by violence every day. The work of addressing violence and supporting survivors seeking safety is lifesaving and critically important for survivors and our community - and we cannot do it alone. We are looking to you for an opportunity to keep this work alive. Will you advocate for safer communities by supporting Friendship of Women? Friendship of Women, Inc. wants to dance and party the night away with our spooky friends for Halloween at our fundraiser, Witches, Ghouls & Brews Charity Party, on Friday, October 20th at 7 PM - 11 PM, at The Historic Carcel in Brownsville.
